Announcement of the 11th Election of the Uyghur American Association

Dear esteemed community members, brothers, and sisters,

The Uyghur American Association's 11th General Election will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Uyghur Center in Fairfax, Virginia.

The election will be conducted in accordance with the Association's bylaws and democratic traditions. We warmly invite all members of our community to participate actively and help strengthen our unity.

Those who would like to run as candidates are kindly requested to submit a short biography to the Election Committee via email. The deadline for submission is Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 12:00 PM (noon).

Submissions received after this deadline will not be accepted.
